Welcome to “Physicochemical Biomimmetic Materials Lab” homepage. We develop highly functional biomaterials that mimic the physical and chemical structures and functions of human tissues to solve various biomedical needs. We study biometals, hydrogels(collagen, fibrin, etc.), biodegradable polymers, and hybrid materials between them, and conduct research for the control of physical structures and chemical functionalization of these biomaterials. In addition, we are investigating materials transport issues in tissues for advanced drug delivery and sensor development.
